At Kakinada Public School (KPS), our academic curriculum is designed to foster a caring and well-structured environment, emphasizing both class activities and subject enrichment programs as integral components of our co-curricular activities. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). English serves as the medium of instruction, supported by a dedicated team of qualified teachers proficient in modern teaching techniques. We prioritize student engagement through remedial classes, further enhancing their academic progress. As a result, KPS students consistently excel across diverse fields, securing admissions in leading colleges both in India and overseas.
The academic year of the school is from April to March with a summer vacation and two short vacations one in September/October and the other in January.
Exams play a crucial role in the learning process of students. They not only test the knowledge and understanding of the subject but also help students to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Through exams, students can understand the concepts more deeply and get a better understanding of the subject matter. In order to assess the accomplishment of this aim, international – assessment tests (Periodic Assessment) and Summative Assessment. As per the resent examination reforms of CBSE, and along with the Marks is introduced from the academic year 2023-24 and pointing into grade and marks grading system.
