Kakinada Public School (CBSE) was established in 1982 and affiliated to CBSE New Delhi with the code No.130039. It is one of the renowned old schools of CBSE in Kakinada run by Sarvodaya Educational Society which is a service oriented non-profitable organisation headed by District Collector as President (Ex-officio) and many other eminent personalities of Kakinada as members.
It is popularly known as KPS. It is having 41 years of Excellence set in a beautiful and spacious green environment. It is the first established CBSE School with NCC (Girls) in East Godavari.
